Englewood, Colo. (PRWEB) November 26, 2007 -- Baxa Corporation is sponsoring a professional presentation discussing the differences between standardized parenteral nutrition (PN) formulations and a standardized process for PN systems.
The Exhibitor's Theatre presentation, "The Pros and Cons of Standardized Parenteral Nutrition," describes safety issues surrounding the PN nutrition process, and details key research into the benefits and risks of custom vs. standardized PN formulations. The program takes place on Monday, December 3rd at the meeting of the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) Midyear Clinical Meeting at the Sands Expo Center in Las Vegas.
Presenter Gordon S. Sacks, PharmD, FCCP, BCNSP is currently a Clinical Professor at the University of Wisconsin - Madison, and Chair of the Pharmacy Practice Division in the School of Pharmacy.
